“And let us tell you, the last couple years of not being able to sing together have been ROUGH. “Since day one, we have built and shaped Fruition around our undying love of three-part harmonies,” the band wrote. The cover showcases the rich vocal harmonies for which both Fruition and Crosby, Still & Nash are known. In a Facebook post accompanying the video, Fruition acknowledged Crosby, Stills & Nash as a major influence and explained that covering the song has been a goal of the band for quite some time. The video shows band members Jay Cobb Anderson (vocals, lead guitar, harmonica), Kellen Asebroek (vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), and Mimi Naja (vocals, mandolin, rhythm guitar) rehearsing the opening track from Crosby, Still & Nash’s 1969 self-titled debut album. Fruition paid homage to folk-rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash in a new video filmed backstage at Denver’s Mission Ballroom.
